Craig Hopf, Owner/Heavy Duty Mechanic

Craig Hopf is Operations Manager/Owner at Hopf Mechanical and Hydraulics. He also manages Alberta Water Screens Co. Before starting Hopf Mechanical and Hydraulics, Craig attended Olds College and studied Ag Mechanical (engines, hydraulics, electrical), Welding, Machining, Drafting, and Carpentry. As the Operations Manager of Hopf Mechanical and Hydraulics, Craig runs repairs of heavy equipment, highway trucks, and oilfield equipment. As manager of Alberta Water Screens Co., Craig is involved in the strategic development of water screens for industrial and agriculture application. Craig has been an Employer Representative for three years with the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board. As of July 2015, Craig serves on the Heavy Equipment Technician - Medicine Hat Local Apprenticeship Committee. He also sat on the Board of Directors of Logan Industries from 2011 until 2015. When he isn't working, Craig loves camping, playing ball, brewing, and spending time with his family. Oh, and solving the world's problems.

Jason Bolen, Owner/Manager

Jason Bolen is the Chief Financial Officer/Owner at Hopf Mechanical and Hydraulics. In 1994, Jason received a diploma from Medicine Hat College for Business Administration. He became a Red Seal automotive technician in 1998, and has also completed several strategic management courses including Improve Your Business Performance, Supervisory Personnel, and Effective Management Practices. He also took a complete Inventory Management diploma program offered by MNI - Mike Nichols Inc. For six years, Jason was a Fixed Operations Manager at a Chrysler dealership in Taber, then he moved to Brooks in 2004 where he was hired as Parts Manager for Peak Equipment for seven years. In March of 2011, he began working with Logan Industries and quickly became a member of the Board of Directors. He sat as Vice President of Logan Industries for two years. With fifteen years of management experience, Jason is perfectly suited for his position as CFO and Owner at Hopf Mechanical and Hydraulics. Jason enjoys volunteering his time within the Brooks community, having been President of the Grasslands Soccer Association for four years. He is also the current President of the Sunny South District.
