The My Vendors feature allows you to manage your fleets’ favorite and do not use vendor lists. Fleets can have thousands of vendors on these lists so we provide tools to filter the lists as needed. In search results preferred vendors are displayed only to your authorized users with a green check mark in the top left corner of the listing. Do not use vendors are displayed with a red X.

You no longer even need to wait to build your own favorite vendor list before taking advantage of this feature! Now you can add any Dealer Network to your favorites list automatically - a great way to get your National Accounts to display first in the search results.

Using the My Vendors Feature

Action (Adding Vendors to a list): Vendors are added to your vendor lists through the results page using the Rate Vendor icon on each listing. From the results page click on the Rate Vendor icon on the vendor listing you want to work with. Select which list you want to add the vendor too. You will also need to select a Rating Category and provide a Rating Comment to tell other users in your fleet group why the vendor has been added to a list.

Result: Vendor is added to one of your lists with a Rating Category and Comment all users in your fleet group can see.

Adding Your National Accounts

Action (Adding a national Account to your favorites list): You can add a National Account to your favorites list by clicking on the "My Account" menu option and then clicking on the "Fleet Services" tab. In the "TruckDown Advanced Services" section, click on the link to edit your truckDown Advanced Options. Click the check mark beside any of the available dealer networks that you would like to add to your favorites list. Once selected, you can enter your national Account # (if entered, the # will be displayed on each location for your account) and select a priority. The priority determines the order that the location will be shown in the search results within your favorite vendor search area. Once you have selected all the dealer networks you would liek to add to your account, click on the Update button.

Result: All locations within all of the dealer networks you selected will be automatically added to your Favorites list and those locations will be shown first in your search results provided your favorite locations search radius limit is set.

Managing Your Vendors

Action (Working with Vendor Lists): Click on My Vendors from the menu to start working with your vendor lists. In the My Vendors section you can do the following.

"Do you already have a large vendor list that you use internally? No problem, let us know and we can automtically import your internal vendor list into TruckDown.com for your account so that you do not lose any of your prior experience!" - TruckDown
  • Sort Your Lists using the drop down filters at the top of the list. Click “GO” after selecting filters.

  • You can move a vendor from one list to another or remove the vendor from all lists.

  • View a vendor listing by clicking on vendor’s company name in the Vendor/Listing Name column. Within this view you can use all the features available when a listing is called up on a results page.
